URBAN NETWORKING 105: THE TOOLS OF NETWORKING

Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA .  This amazing workshop provides insights on how to use essential tools for effective relationship building in creatively and strategically connecting with individuals and organizations.

Whether you are individual starting up a new business or expanding your current list of contacts; or a community focused person seeking to connect with a wide variety of individuals and families, “Urban Networking 105:  The Tools of Networking  is essential to your relationship building success.

This workshop will provide with an overview of the fundamentals of networking and offer insight on how to utilize simple networking tools such as phones, business cards, email and the internet.

Individuals  in the fields of  business, entrepreneurship, community organizing and engagement as well as  individuals interested in increasing their leadership and relationship building skills.

Topics include:

• Overview of Urban Networking – Purpose and rewards

• Phone power – how to use your phone as a time management tools, research instrument, and relationship building tool.

• Business card – the Mobile commercial. – How to use effectively use business  cards.  The dos and don’ts of business cards. 

• Email Etiquette – Effective use of email and some  positives and negatives.

• Social Media – Tips on using  such media as Face book, Twitter, YouTube, Linked-N as tools for effective communications and relationship building.

This informative and motivating  workshop is facilitated by Michael Rice, a Master Networker and Community Engagement Specialist.   This basic workshop will help the layman develop strategies and tactics  expanding their membership and establishing new and productive relationships.
