Each year the Philadelphia Zoo gives 15 grants up to $1,500 each to support locally-based environmental projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

The Conservation Grants support both individual and group efforts focused on wildlife conservation, environmental protection, sustainability, greening initiatives, open space, conservation education, or environmental awareness.
The Zoo gives preference to projects in the Philadelphia region, but also considers initiatives more widely distributed within the tri-state area.
