Learn how to Sell on EBay , NTR @ first scavenger hunt and pizza party..

The Computer Thrift Store will be closed. But we'll be hosting our
first scavenger hunt and pizza party...

10 am till 4 pm

Come to NTR and help find interesting things to sell on eBay.

We'll be starting around 10 am and will be rooting around our 12,000
square foot warehouse and factory looking for cool stuff or old stuff
or just any stuff that might be in saleable condition.

You can find things, write up a description and try to find out how
much it's worth. Then we'll post the items we find on eBay and see if
we can't make an improvement to NTR's slow summer sales.

You should know that three quarters (75%) of NTR's income comes from
sales of our products. Most of the things we sell, our computers, are
refurbished by clients, interns and volunteers who come here to learn
about computer hardware.

You can be a big help by identifying the gems among things donated to
us and helping to get these things sold for more than we'd be getting
from the recyclers who handle our overflow of materials.

Pizza will be served around 12:30. So, come out and join the party
and be a scavenger of high tech  - out of date - or just lonely
materials - looking for a new home - that have gathered in our
facility.

Children are welcome but must be supervised and must be able to
understand how to avoid getting hurt. This is a large place, not
designed for toddlers or rambunctious little ones and we don't want
anyone getting scraped up or tripped up or having things fall on them.

Which reminds me, open toe shoes are forbidden.
