One out of two people in the city of Philadelphia either cannot read, or don’t have Internet access to read something simple like an email. There is a digital divide in Philadelphia, and it’s real. But Keyspot is working to give residents citywide the information and access they need.
Through Keyspot, powered by the Freedom Rings Partnership, over 50 community organizations work to provide free Internet access, computer classes, 1-on-1 training and more to all Philadelphia neighborhoods. And on Saturday, September 8th, and Sunday, September 9th, from 10am to 6pm, Keyspot will share this important program with residents shopping at six Brown’s ShopRite supermarkets.
