A "Day of Thrifty Bargains" fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Bargain Thrift Center, 5261 Germantown Avenue, to benefit Germantown Deaf Ministries Fellowship, a deaf advocacy support group. Stop by the Deaf Ministry’s information table for sign language tips and a free blood pressure screening.
