City launches new campaign to encourage HIV testing

   The Philadelphia Dept. of Public Health's AIDS Activities Coordinating Office has launched a new campaign with the US Centers for Disease Controlcalled Testing Makes Us Stronger. The campaign is using transit advertising(subway and buses) to ensure a city wide distribution of message.   
   The goal of this national campaign is to promote HIV testing among black gay and bisexual men. Testing Makes Us Stronger aims to demonstrate that knowing one's HIV status is important and empowering for both self and community.
