(Philadelphia, May 1, 2008) Philly1.com: your place in the city, is pleased to announce that the multimedia community website has partnered with Evolve Productions to create and produce a bi-weekly, non-partisan, issues based public affairs program focusing on Philadelphia to be broadcast on Philly1.com: your place in the city and is seeking talent for the new web-based television show.

"Civically ambitious people are working tirelessly to redefine Philadelphia as we know it for generations to come," said Rob Stuart, President of Evolve Productions. "Philly1.com has been an agent for change for years, and now thanks to its reemergence as a robust new media channel, will be able to showcase Philadelphia's social entrepreneurs and allow citizens to play a larger role in where our city is heading," continued Stuart.

Philly1.com: your place in the city invites recent college graduates with an interest in good government and civic engagement who have chosen to live within the city's boundaries to join the site, create a profile, post videos that are most representative of their personhood and blog about the issues they care about.

On July 4, 2008, one man and one woman will be chosen to host the new program that will begin production later this summer and will be prominently showcased on Philly1.com: your place in the city. Each winner will be announced on Philly1.com: your place in the city on Independence Day and receive $500 and a 13 show platform for exploration, exposure and education.
