This UFC Was one of the best ive seen in a while. one fight in particular caught my attention.

The fights started off with east coast finest and my good friend Frankie Edgar. Frankie was once again the underdog has once again dominated his opponent. ever round was the same. Frankie would bounce around throwing his hand and taking Spencer down at will. the pounding Frank gave him lead him to victory.

What are your thoughts?

It was incredible performance by Frankie last - He contolled the entire pace of the fight with focused aggression - Keeping the fight exactly where he wanted to at all times - Congrats Frankie. Couple of questions? - What kind of stand up ability does Frank have and how would he have done if his opponent's takedown defense was a little better and the fight was keep up? - Also, what's next for Frankie?
Frankie's Stand up is as intense as his take-downs. he had a Game plan going in to that fight which is very important for a fighter. Although, a good fighter always has a back up plan and if frankie was stuffed with the take-down i believe he would of out classed him from the feet.

Frankie's next fight might be Bj Penn. Penn is a Great all around fighter. good hands, Blackbeltin Bjj and unreal flexibility. this fight is gonna be good!
Frank did seem to be on a mission working his plan, he made it very apparent he had an agenda to follow and he followed it perfectly. Once again prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance.
I think Frankie did a great job keeping to his game plan and not getting ahead of himself. I think his guard passing looked like it could have used some improvement, but he consistently kept himself out of trouble against an opponent who maintained an active guard and scored some points without giving up any. I think if Frankie draws BJ for one his next opponents, we'll be seeing him a lot more than once a week.
yeah chris he'll be at Balance for that one.
yeah frankie is awesome I can't wait for his next fight. very impressive!
Penn has Joe Stevenson in January to fight for the interum lightweight title. Just saw that that was announced.
I think for this last fight the guard passing wasn't too much of an issue because of his strikes from within the guard. Fighting Penn or anyone known for their guard submissions might not be as easy. If Edgar works his guard passing and trains his jiu jitsu a little more, I can't see many people being able to put up much of a fight.
Yeah, he may be in on Sunday. i know his team mate Chris Logorio will be there. he's getting ready for a fight too. ill ask him what Edgar's next fight is
